Are you coming to Atlanta for the CSCMP Edge conference? Have you thought about making a long weekend out of it and spending some time out of the conference? Maybe your flight out after the conference leaves you with a few hours to burn downtown.
Here are some of the things Atlanta has to offer.
Things to do while you are not at the conference
1. Tour the World of Coke
With Coke's headquarters in Atlanta, the World of Coke is a great place to taste the famous beverage from the source.
2. Visit the Georgia Aquarium
Rated one of the best aquariums in the US, this is a must see should you be visiting and have half a day on your hands
3. Take a walk in Piedmont Park
Need an outdoor stroll from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. Try the 185 acres of Piedmont Park located northeast of downtown!
4. Visit CNN Headquarters
The news giant conducts behind the scene tours of the offices that launched the 24 hour news cycle.
5. Eat at a Atlanta Landmark, the Varsity
An Atlanta staple that is well worth going to. Try the frosted orange shake, you won't be sorry!
Potential Restaurants for late night networking dinners and drinks
There are a wealth of great restaurants to try in Atlanta but I wanted to share my favorites that will not fail to disappoint which I've separated by cuisine.
